Perhaps it's the red, but it also makes me think of a vandalised Communist Party poster. Which kind of fits, oddly. Anti-socialist=antisocial? Sort of...?

Technically, the commies like calling themselves "socialists," as well as "democrats." I can see the connection, but I think it's just the red, too.

but I'd suggest filling in the holes in the letters. let the center be white, everything else red.

Fine, fine. I actually added the white later, just because I thought the holes gave it a bit more unique look, as opposed to "paintbucket. Red. Done." It felt too easy, and looked like it'd been done before.

*sigh* I'll see if it looks better filled in again.
