Burning pink suns
glisten in the noonday heat-

The Bus Stop Dialogues

I. A young man at the bus stop turns to me and softly asks "Why aren't you wearing shoes?" He taps the faded leather of his suedo-skin and his eyes smile in a gentle lilt before his mouth does. Edit: Changed from "grandfather's" to "grandmother's"...because I'm a pervert. XD

Edit again *sigh* Lost. I was so sure that I'd win, though, or at least place in the top three. Even then, I kinda thought there were some better ones that should have been in the winner's circle. I guess it's a matter of taste, though. Still fun, nonetheless.

P.S. For the anal-retentive people that realize this isn't 5-7-5 syllables, simply replace "burning pink suns" with "three burning pink suns". There, now. Happy? Good. XD
